Versatile Industrial Label Printer Series

  Valentin Compa-II label printer

The Compa-II label printer range includes 200 and 300 dpi resolution 4" wide printers and 300 dpi 6" wide printers. Labels can be printed in thermal transfer or direct thermal print modes.

A die-cast aluminium chassis is used with a metal cover for maximum durability in harsh environments. Print speeds can reach a maximum of 200mm/sec for 4" wide printers and 150mm/sec for 6" wide printers.

Options include cutter, label dispenser and special rewinder modules purpose designed to integrate with Compa printers. For maximum flexibility, both labels and ribbons can be either outside or inside wound.

USB, serial and parallel interfaces are included as standard. Ethernet and wireless LAN interfaces are also available as options.

Compa printers are ready for use in stand-alone mode (with no PC connected) courtesy of two USB ports included as standard for use with a memory stick and keyboard. Label designs may then be downloaded to the memory stick and selected for printing using the USB keyboard and large LCD display on the front of the printer. Any variable data such as batch code or operator ID can be entered using the keyboard and display. Real time data such as time, date and expiry dates can be printed in stand-alone mode.

NiceLabel SE label design software is included free with all Martek printers for basic label printing requirements. For more advanced requirements, NiceLabel Express, Pro and Suite are also available. Click here for more details of the NiceLabel range.

Compa-II printers form the basis for Valentin APL-100 print-and-apply systems by adding a atmp, blow or roll applicator to the front of the printer. Click here for more information on APL-100 print-and-apply systems.
