The Delta 31P system has been specifically designed to print A5 pallet labels and apply the printed labels to two adjacent sides of stationary pallets.

A SATO M8460Se thermal transfer print engine is used to print labels clearly and reliably.

The articulated label application arm can apply labels to two adjacent sides of pallets at a maximum rate of 6 pallets per minute.

Delta 31 systems can connect to any host system using a choice of nine interface options including RS232, RS422/485, LAN and wireless LAN.

Label data can be sent directly to the SATO print engine from a host system or Martek's Pallet Label Workstation can be used to automatically select pallet label data. The Pallet Label Workstation provides a product database with full editing facilities. The selection of label data can be made from a bar code reader scanning the pallet contents or from palletiser and conveyor control signals.

Once pallet labels are applied, bar code quality can be validated and a new set of labels applied if necessary.
