Labelling Lines & Systems

The modular concept of Collamat applicators extends to labelling lines and systems. A range of modules can be assembled to produce a wide range of different labelling systems including:

Top labellers

Bottom labellers

Top & bottom labellers

Wrap-around bottle labellers

Flat and oval bottle labellers

Tamper-evident labellers

Custom labelling systems

In addition to a choice of belt and modular conveyors, the following range of Flexoline modules can be used to build a modular labelling system:

Alignment Unit

Top Conveyor

Side conveyor

Alignment Unit - Used for centring products on a conveyor to ensure accurate labelling. The synthetic chain ensures no product damage. Spring loaded pulleys are used to compensate for variations in the product size. Speed can be synchronised to the conveyor speed to prevent product tilting.

Top Conveyor - Used to stabilise products during side labelling to ensure accurate labelling. The soft cellular rubber belt absorbs variations in product size and angle whilst also eliminating slip. Speed can be synchronised to the conveyor speed to prevent product tilting. A sensor mounting bracket is included.

Side Conveyor - Used for wrapping labels around cylindrical products. Standard heights are 40, 100 and 160mm with custom heights also available. The soft cellular rubber belt accommodates variations in product size and ensures labels are firmly wrapped. The ratio of the side conveyor speed to the base conveyor can be set and synchronised allowing the base conveyor speed to be varied with the side conveyor auto-adjusting accordingly.

Separation Wheel - Used to separate cylindrical products on entry to the labeller to ensure each product is correctly labelled. Normally used with wrap-around labellers

Paired Side Conveyors - Opposed side conveyors used to transport products over the gap between conveyors without tipping. May also be used to stabilise products during base labelling. Normally used with tall or other unstable products.

3-Roller Wrap Unit - Used for wrapping labels around cylindrical products with high precision and where labels need to be placed very close to the bottom of the product.
